About Our Client: We are a leading legal recruitment firm committed to connecting top legal talent with prestigious firms across the UK and beyond. As part of an exciting project, they have recently integrated a new legal database and are now looking for a detail-oriented and efficient Legal Administrator to join their team for a six-month project (with potential for extension). Job Description: This is a pure administrative role focused on legal data entry and verification. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring our database is accurate, up-to-date, and correctly tagged. With 30,000 newly added legal candidates, your primary responsibility will be to update and categorize legal professionals based on their qualifications, practice areas, and career history. You will: Review candidate records and update qualification details for England, Scotland, and Wales Assign the correct qualification codes based on LinkedIn profiles, CVs, and law society records Ensure consistency and accuracy across the database Work towards a target of 100 records per day (500 per week, 2000 per month) Conduct basic research to verify legal career timelines post-qualification Participate in weekly check-ins to track progress and resolve any challenges. Previous experience in data entry, administration, or database management Excellent attention to detail and ability to work efficiently with large volumes of data Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to work independently and flag any discrepancies or concerns Exposure to the legal industry would be beneficial but is not essential Confident in using LinkedIn, legal databases, and research tools
