Sales Support Project Manager

About the Role: As a Sales Support & Project Manager, youll play a key role in ensuring smooth inbound supply chain operations, managing relationships with logistics providers, and overseeing the cost and performance of products. Youll be responsible for developing and maintaining crucial supplier relationships, building effective costing models, and supporting the Head of Supply Chain with major initiatives, including new product development and supply chain improvements. Key Responsibilities: Logistics & Supply Chain Optimization: Oversee end-to-end logistics, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods while maintaining high quality standards. Supplier Relationship Management: Build and nurture relationships with freight forwarders, 3PL warehouses, and distribution suppliers to improve performance and reduce costs. Demand Planning & Stock Management: Manage demand planning to maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing holding costs. Costing & Pricing Models: Develop and maintain costing models for manufactured products to support pricing strategies and ensure company margins. Project Support: Assist in new product development, performance monitoring, and resolving key supply chain challenges. Data & Compliance: Maintain accurate data and documentation on manufactured products, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Collaboration & Reporting: Work closely with internal teams (sales, marketing, finance) and external suppliers to ensure seamless operations and regular performance reporting. What Were Looking For: Experience: Minimum 2-3 years in supply chain management, with hands-on experience in warehouse and freight management. Familiarity with project management tools like Wrike or Trello is a plus. Qualifications: Working towards or holding CIPS certification and/or project management accreditation. Skills: Strong Excel skills, experience in demand planning, costing models, and managing supplier relationships. Personal Qualities: A proactive problem-solver with excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
