Contract Manager

Minimum Requirements Diploma/Certificate in Engineering (Mechanical or Rock) Project management experience Engineering experience in heavy machinery, hydraulics, Electrical packs, HMI Instrumentation Minimum 5 years’ relevant Operational / Project management experience within a contracting / mining environment Minimum 5 years’ supervisory experience in a mining environment This role requires local and occasional international travel within the region with temporary relocation possible Required to work underground when required Rotational deployment may be required Responsibilities Responsible for ensuring the safety, quality, and financial performance of a set of drilling projects Lead & supervise the Project teams to execute drilling projects effectively Monitor and control project (tender) budgets and identify interventions when required Create monthly budgets for relevant accounts Review and approve project expenditure Monitor project productivity and identify interventions when required Start-up and operational controls (shift reporting, recruitment and on boarding, performance management, maintenance schedules etc.) Contract administration (variance reports, variations to commercial agreement, invoicing etc.) SHEQ compliance Compliance audits (contract, SHEQ etc.) Manage relationships with external Stakeholders (Client, Suppliers, local Community Leaders) Create effective relations with internal Stakeholders Identify potential organic growth opportunities, new business- and cross selling opportunities with existing Clients Develop and implement business development strategy for the area Select, develop, and motivate the Project Monitor team performance TO APPLY: Only if you meet the minimum job requirements and experience as mentioned above, you may submit a detailed updated CV.
