Senior Java Engineer - Spring Frameworks

Role : Senior Java Engineer Location : Hyderabad Experience : 5 years NOTE : Immediate joiners About Role We are looking for a highly motivated individual that can help us solve interesting and complex problems for our clients. You will be working closely with product and engineering teams based out of the USA, Europe, and India to build proof-of-concepts, validate strategic architecture decisions, and develop modern and scalable solutions. Experience : 5 years Location : Hyderabad (Work from office - Hybrid) Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, modify, implement, and support software components anywhere in the software stack. - Determine root cause for the most complex software issues and develop practical, efficient, and permanent technical solutions. - Participate in code reviews - Work closely with architect or senior engineers on the low-level designs - Assist in task planning, estimation, scheduling - Remain current on new technologies and make recommendations as necessary. - Perform unit and dev testing to deliver high-quality solutions - Determine process improvements, best practices, and develop new processes. - Work in close partnership with cross-functional teams and management. Key Requirements : - 5-8 years of total experience with Java, Spring framework, Spring boot, and JPA - Working knowledge of Relational DBs (MySQL/PostgreSQL) & NoSQL DBs (MongoDB) - Knowledge of build tools like Maven. (Gradle will be nice to have) - API based platform development experience - Basic knowledge of any cloud platform (AWS) (Azure/GCE will be nice to have) - Strong experience in SQL and in-depth knowledge of data structures - Strong communication skills and willingness to take initiative to contribute beyond basic responsibilities - Some recent and successful experience in a properly functioning agile team would be extremely advantageous - Familiarity with Document, Time Series & Graph DBs is a plus (ref:hirist.tech)
