Lead Android Developer - Kotlin Platform

We are seeking an experienced Lead Android Developer (Kotlin) proficient in Kotlin to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing high-quality, scalable Android applications, leading complex projects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities : Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Android applications using Kotlin. Lead and manage complex projects involving multiple frontend and backend components. Architect and implement modern Android applications, ensuring best practices in technical design. Work with Google Cloud Platform services and integrate backend solutions efficiently. Manage databases, particularly MongoDB, and ensure optimized data handling. Utilize CI/CD tools like Concourse for seamless deployment and integration. Write high-quality, testable, and maintainable code while following coding standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution. Communicate effectively to gather and understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Required Qualifications & Skills : 7 years of progressive software development experience in Kotlin. 5 years of experience in high-performing engineering organizations. 3 years of experience leading complex projects across multiple teams. Strong experience in building complete Android applications with modern tech stacks. Proficiency in database management systems, especially MongoDB. Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform services. Expertise in CI/CD tools such as Concourse for automation and deployment. Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for delivering quality software. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Preferred Qualifications : Experience working in an Agile development environment. Knowledge of other mobile technologies and frameworks.
