Lead Backend Engineer - Golang Platform

We are looking for a highly skilled Lead Backend Engineer (GoLang) with 10 years of experience in progressive software development. The ideal candidate should have expertise in building scalable, fault-tolerant web services and APIs, leading complex projects, and working in high-performance engineering environments. Key Responsibilities : Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and fault-tolerant backend services using GoLang. Lead and coordinate complex projects involving multiple frontend and backend components. Develop robust web services and APIs while ensuring performance, security, and maintainability. Work with MongoDB and other database management systems to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval. Leverage Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services for cloud-based application development. Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Concourse to enhance deployment efficiency. Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions. Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior developers and contribute to a culture of engineering excellence. Requirements : 10 years of progressive experience in software development, with a strong focus on GoLang. 5 years of experience in organizations that emphasize engineering excellence. 3 years of experience leading complex projects involving multiple frontend and backend components. Proven experience in building scalable, fault-tolerant web services and APIs. Strong hands-on experience with MongoDB and cloud services like Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Experience with CI/CD tools like Concourse to automate development workflows. Deep understanding of software design principles, system architecture, and best coding practices. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on writing efficient and maintainable code. Excellent communication skills to understand requirements and explain complex technical concepts clearly. Preferred Qualifications : Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems. Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and other containerization technologies.
