Chief Financial Officer

Job Description: Lead initiatives to optimize costs and reduce expenses across the Group Partner with the Financial Director to secure necessary funding for operations Oversee and review the budgeting process Manage the organizations accounting function Identify funding sources, develop fundraising strategies, and write proposals to increase organizational funds Develop contingency plans and strategies to drive continuous improvement Provide leadership that inspires high performance and sets new standards Collaborate with business leaders to align on vision and strategy Encourage a culture of continuous improvement and ensure leaders are accountable for ongoing progress Spot opportunities to surpass performance targets, drive growth, improve margins, and reduce working capital needs Foster a people-first mindset, recognizing that employees are central to business success Promote a culture of empowerment while staying engaged in day-to-day details Mentor and guide the finance team to boost performance Ensure financial systems are effective, compliant, and support both current and future needs Serve as the advocate for all financial systems within the organization Take on additional tasks as directed by the Managing Director and Board of Directors Skills & Experience: At least 10 years of finance experience, with a minimum of 5 years in the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) sector A minimum of 5 years in a senior management role Qualification: Bachelor of Accounting (CA) SA, and/or Master of Business Administration (MBA) Or CIMA Contact Refiloe Mofokeng on 021 418 1750 , quoting the Ref: CTF020460.
