We are currently looking for a TECHNICAL PROJECT INTEGRATION EXPERT USA for our RDT office in Spain. This role will be located either in Pamplona or Madrid, with trips to USA. Type of contract: Permanent Within the department Technology, Engineering, Innovation, this professional will be part of the team in charge of developing hydrogen projects which will involve integration as a whole system of hybrid wind, PV, green hydrogen, and e-fuel synthesis. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Managing the engineering scope of one or few projects, (at the design and conceptual stage until Ready to Build), and the integration of component blocks. It includes: Renewable energy; Hydrogen generation, (plus Nitrogen and CO2) and compression & storage; Synthesis to liquid molecules to ammonia and methanol port and Cooling plant, water plant and piping for gases , chemical liquids and water. Adaptation of each block as required for the local/country / ambient conditions of the project, with help from technology experts and local/country engineering and EPC companies Review and propose changes together with the technology experts, to improve KPIs of the plant and to provide solutions to enable (easier) permitting, and to refine the models also. Coordination of the preparation of (renewable electricity) plant design and (chemical plant) concept studies, with selected Engineering firms. Daily coordination with development department, providing them technical information required for their tasks. Bridge between development and the global technology experts. KEY QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS Master’s degree in engineering Bilingual in English. Spanish is a plus Minimum of 10 total years of professional experience working in technical or project management areas in renewable energy (utility-scale wind and/or solar projects) or chemical engineering It is absolutely required some professional experience in at least one (hydrogen, ammonia, methanol, or other e-fuels; Wind energy; Solar PV; Battery storage (Lithium) Ideally to have worked with American projects Entrepreneurial mindset, analytical and independent problem-solving skills. Strong interpersonal skills Good MS Office knowledge: xls, ppt Availability to travel: 35-45% time. The position will be located either in Pamplona or in Madrid but demands frequent travel to Pamplona and Madrid and 6-8 travels to USA/ year. Driving is an essential function of the job. Must possess a fully valid driver's license and be self-sufficient to drive in the destination countries
