Financial Manager

1. Financial Reporting: Preparing financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, etc.). Ensuring compliance with accounting standards (like IFRS or GAAP). Preparing audit reports for clients and organizations. 2. Taxation: Providing tax advice and planning to individuals, businesses, or organizations. Filing tax returns and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. Advising on tax-saving strategies and minimizing tax liabilities. 3. Audit and Assurance: Conducting internal and external audits to ensure financial records are accurate. Reviewing financial statements for accuracy and compliance with regulations. Offering assurance services to clients to improve business processes and governance. 4. Management Accounting: Helping businesses with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Analyzing costs and advising on how to improve financial efficiency. Preparing reports that assist in decision-making for management. 5. Corporate Finance: Assisting businesses in raising capital and managing investments. Offering advice on mergers, acquisitions, and business valuations. Helping companies manage risks, such as through financial instruments or insurance. 6. Advisory Services: Providing expert advice on financial strategies, business planning, and financial structuring. Offering consultations on international tax issues, financial regulations, or company law. 7. Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring that the company or clients comply with local, national, and international financial regulations. Staying updated on any changes in financial laws, tax policies, or accounting standards. 8. Financial Consultancy: Offering advice on mergers, acquisitions, investments, and restructuring. Helping businesses develop and implement financial strategies to achieve their goals. 9. Risk Management: Identifying financial risks and advising on mitigating them. Helping businesses plan for financial uncertainties or downturns. 10. Forensic Accounting: Investigating financial discrepancies or fraud. Working with law enforcement agencies or in legal matters to uncover financial crimes. Bachelor's Degree : A degree in finance, accounting, economics, or business administration Certifications : CA(SA) (Chartered Accountant) several years (5-10) of experience in roles such as financial analyst, accountant, or similar positions before moving into a management role.
