Performance Calculations: Conduct performance assessments and dimensioning of main and auxiliary system components. Technical Documentation: Prepare documentation for proposals and project execution. Commissioning Support: Participate in site commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimization activities. Project Coordination: Depending on experience, lead and coordinate engineering efforts. Contract & Specification Analysis: Review contractual and partner documentation to ensure compliance with technical and business requirements. Our requirements Experience in boiler technology, power industry, performance engineering, systems engineering, or commissioning for a large scale power plants of CHP is highly valued. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Energy Engineering, Process Technology, or a related field. Strong knowledge of thermodynamics, heat transfer, and boiler technology fundamentals. Proficiency in English and Polish or English and Finnish. Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving. As a Performance engineer you are responsible for calculating predicted performance, dimensioning of main and auxiliary parts of the systems and defining the design criteria for the equipment. For calculations you will use SFW inhouse developed software as well as commercially available software. You will cooperate with worldwide located team and contribute to developing international projects. You will get a chance to become a technology subject matter expert. As a Technologist you are responsible for creating optimal and doable technology concepts, defining it’s functionality and specifications. You will be developing project engineering documentation, participating at commissioning activities, acting as subject matter expert. You may possibly leading engineering team works, cooperating with other engineering and commercial experts. Work Locations Our European offices are located in Sosnowiec (Poland) and Varkaus/Espoo (Finland). The role involves working both on-site and remotely.
