ChicMic Studios - Senior Node.js Developer - Backend Systems

Job Summary : We are looking for an experienced Node.js Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for backend development, expertise in building scalable applications, and a deep understanding of server-side logic. You'll work with a team of talented engineers to develop, improve, and scale our backend systems. Key Responsibilities : - Backend Development : Design and implement APIs, web services, and backend systems usingNode.js. - Database Management : Develop and optimize database solutions, ensuring data consistency,integrity, and security. - Collaboration : Work closely with frontend developers, designers, and otherteam members tocreate a cohesive product. - Testing & Debugging : Write unit tests, perform debugging, and ensure the codebase meetsquality standards. - Scalability : Ensure the application is scalable, maintainable, and performs well under high traffic. - Code Review : Participate in code reviews,share feedback, and promote best practices forcoding. - Documentation : Maintain clear, comprehensive documentation forsystem architecture, APIs,and codebase. Requirements : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - Experience : 4 years of experience in backend development with Node.js. - Proficiency in JavaScript and ES6 features. - Experience with RESTful and/or GraphQL API design. - Knowledge of frameworks like Express.js or Koa. - Familiarity with database technologies(e.g, MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL). - Understanding of containerization (Docker) and cloud services(AWS, GCP).
