Earth-Moving Diesel Mechanic

Môreson Grondverskuiwers , a leading earthmoving company in the secondary agricultural industry, is seeking an experienced Earth-moving Diesel Mechanic to join their team based in Robertson (Western Cape) . The ideal candidate is a skilled and reliable professional with strong technical expertise in fault diagnostics and repairing heavy machinery. The successful candidate should be detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship. Strong problem-solving skills, teamwork, and adaptability are essential in this role. Duties and responsibilities will include (but not be limited to): Perform maintenance and repairs on industrial earth-moving machinery Conduct diagnostic tests and implement effective solutions Maintain detailed records of all work performed Monitor machinery for faults, report deviations, and conduct field maintenance Provide technical support to other technicians Stay updated on industry advancements and best practices All other tasks related to the position. Essential qualifications, skills and experience: Red Seal Certification as an Earth-Moving Diesel Mechanic; 5-8 years' post apprenticeship experience with earthmoving machinery maintenance and repairs; Experience working with Komatsu machinery will be highly beneficial; Willingness to work overtime, as well as on Saturdays and public holidays; Fully bilingual (Afrikaans and English); Valid Code C1 (Code 10) drivers license and own reliable transport.
