FIBRE OPTIC SPLICING TECHNICIAN (NELSPRUIT)

Requirements & Skills: Minimum 3 years experience in fibre optic splicing, installation, and testing. Technical certification in fibre optics (e.g., FOA, CFOT ) is preferred. Hands-on experience with OTDRs, power meters, and fusion splicers . Strong understanding of fibre optic cabling standards and best practices. Knowledge of aerial and underground fibre installations . Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and in various weather conditions . Physically capable of lifting and carrying heavy equipment . Valid drivers license and reliable transport. Availability for flexible working hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts .
