Oracle Database Administrator - Azure

Job Title : Oracle DBA with Azure and GoldenGate Location : Bangalore Experience : 8 Years Immediate Joining (Within 15 Days) Job Description : We are looking for an experienced Oracle DBA with expertise in Azure and GoldenGate to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess strong skills in Oracle migration, performance tuning, SQL complex queries, and application coding. This role requires a strong hands-on experience in Oracle database management, as well as familiarity with migration and integration tools such as GoldenGate. Key Responsibilities : - Oracle Database Administration : Perform routine DBA tasks, including installation, configuration, backup, recovery, and performance tuning for Oracle databases. - Migration and Integration : Lead the migration of databases (e.g., Oracle to Oracle, Oracle to Postgres) using tools like GoldenGate. Ensure smooth data transfer and minimal downtime. - Performance Tuning : Address production support tickets related to performance issues, ensuring optimal performance of databases. - SQL Complex Queries : Write and optimize SQL queries to enhance database performance. - PL/SQL Application Coding : Work with application teams on coding and troubleshooting within Oracle PL/SQL. - Azure Integration : Leverage Azure services to manage and integrate Oracle databases, ensuring cloud-based infrastructure aligns with business goals. - Collaboration with Customer Teams : Engage with internal and customer teams to resolve issues, provide support, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. - Documentation and Reporting : Maintain and update detailed documentation on database operations, processes, and migration steps. Skills and Qualifications : Mandatory Skills : - Oracle DBA with Azure integration experience. - GoldenGate for database migration and replication. - Strong experience in Oracle database migration (e.g., Oracle to Oracle, Oracle to Postgres). - Expertise in SQL complex queries. - Experience with PL/SQL application coding. - Strong knowledge of performance tuning in Oracle environments. Technical Expertise : - Hands-on experience with Oracle database management in both on-premise and cloud environments (preferably Azure). - Familiarity with migration tools like GoldenGate. - Experience handling production support tickets, including troubleshooting and resolving database performance issues. Work Mode : Hybrid work mode (3 days per week at the customer location). Interview Process : 3 Technical Rounds (via MS Teams) : - 1 internal interview. - 2 customer interviews. - Application Process Interested candidates should be available to join immediately or within 15 days.
