Production Manager: Fruit

Laastedrif Agri (Pty) Ltd. , is an established, commercial agricultural enterprise, specialising in the cultivation of fresh fruit and vegetables. Laastedrif is based in Ceres and serves a range of local supermarkets as well as international markets. Laastedrif has the abovementioned position available for a Production Manager with strong planning, time management, and problem-solving skills, paired with the ability to maintain good relations. The suitable candidate will report to the Farm Manager and will be responsible for: Business unit and productivity management Recordkeeping and reporting Management of best farming practices All other tasks related to the position. Essential qualifications, skills, and experience: Relevant qualification in Agriculture; Approximately 2-5 years practical experience in the cultivation of apples and pears; Proven knowledge & experience with cost management; Strong computer skills (MS Office, specifically Excel); Good labour relations knowledge; Willingness to work after hours as per industry requirements.
