Electrical Engineer

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same. As the Electrical Engineer, you will provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services. The Electrical Engineer, will be responsible for: Offer a prompt and professional response to the Client to ensure the building systems and plan remain in full operation Responsible for carrying out electrical installation work, PAT Testing and assisting with electrical safety testing Undertake planned and reactive works Provide support to the Maintenance Manager Undertake other duties over and above those required of this role, within reason, as directed by the Maintenance Manager or Site Manager Partake in the Out-of-Hours on call service rota (1 in 3) Respond to building management system alarms, and effect emergency repairs as needed. Issue and ensure appropriate controls within the permit to work systems. Ensure that suitable spares are available to carry out repairs and maintenance of the above plant. Ensure that comprehensive maintenance records are kept in the form of “MAXIMO” task sheets. Ensure that method statements and risk assessments are prepared for all tasks carried out to ensure safe working practices. Ensure that engineering subcontractors are appropriately supervised and comply with contractual commitments. To develop a good working relationship with all Mitie staff and client's staff. To be successful for this Electrical Engineer role you must have: 17th/18th Edition Regulations C&G 2330, 2360,2365 or any other electrical based qualifications. GCSE Maths & English or equivalent. Able to acquire and maintain sufficient knowledge of a building's operation and services. Able to work outside of discipline, although within competence and QSHE.
