Management Accountant

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join a dynamic and well-established client within the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods industry. This exciting opportunity is based within the southern suburbs of Cape Town, a hub of growth and innovation, where you will play a key role in driving financial strategy and supporting operational excellence within a fast-paced, results-driven environment. Duties: Develop, monitor, and review financial forecasts to ensure accurate predictions and tracking against company targets. Prepare, maintain, and analyse BOMs and product costing, ensuring accuracy and efficiency within the manufacturing process. Oversee and analyse operating costs to identify cost-saving opportunities while ensuring profitability is maximized in line with operational performance. Prepare detailed management reports, financial statements, and performance analyses to guide decision-making for senior leadership. Collaborate with various departments to support budget preparation, providing key insights and ensuring alignment with company goals. Job Experience & Skills Required: Qualifications: Completed BCom Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Completed articles (preferably) or alternatively, CIMA studies would be advantageous. While CIMA is not a must, it is highly beneficial for this role. Experience: Experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment is essential. Proven knowledge of forecasting, costing, BOMs, and operating costing within the manufacturing/FMCG industry.
