Financial Accountant

Our client, a prominent player in the Property industry, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join their growing team in Pretoria. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced financial professional looking to further their career in a dynamic and fast-paced industry. If you hold a completed BCom Degree, have completed your articles, and have experience or exposure within the Property sector, this could be the perfect role for you Duties: Prepare, review, and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards and company policies. Assist with the preparation of management accounts, ensuring the accuracy of data and providing key financial insights to support decision-making. Conduct regular bank reconciliations and ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions. Support the budgeting and forecasting process by providing accurate financial information and assisting in tracking actual vs budgeted results. If you have exposure to the property sector, you will be involved in tracking rental income, lease agreements, property valuations, and related financial aspects. Job Experience & Skills Required: Qualifications: Completed BCom Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Completed articles (SAICA or similar), with a strong grounding in financial accounting and reporting. Experience: Previous exposure to the Property industry is highly advantageous, as it will allow you to hit the ground running with an understanding of the industry-specific financial considerations, such as property valuations, rental income, and lease accounting.
