Managing Director

Our client, a leader in the Supply Chain industry, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Managing Director to lead their operations in Johannesburg North. This is a high-level executive role that offers an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned professional to shape the strategic direction and growth of a well-established company. If you have extensive experience in the supply chain industry , are a CA(SA), and have a proven track record of leadership at an executive level, we want to hear from you Duties: Develop and implement the companys long-term strategic objectives, driving growth and market expansion while maintaining the companys position as a leader in the supply chain industry. Lead and manage the Executive Committee (Exco), ensuring alignment of operational objectives with the overall business strategy. Oversee day-to-day operations and provide guidance to senior leadership in each department. Ensure sound financial practices, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Safeguard the companys financial health and drive profitability through effective cost management and revenue growth. Ensure the effective implementation of business operations, supply chain strategies, and risk management procedures. Drive continuous improvement and optimize operational processes. Job Experience & Skills Required: Qualifications: Qualified CA(SA) (Chartered Accountant South Africa) with a strong operational background. Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in the Supply Chain industry, with a deep understanding of its dynamics and challenges. At least 7 years of experience serving at an Executive Committee (Exco) level, or in other senior leadership positions, with a proven ability to lead and drive business success.
