Purchasing Manager

As a Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for the following: Create, implement, and enforce policies, procedures, and a procurement charter for purchasing and contract management. Ensure that the procurement department operates in line with the International Corporate Responsibility Framework (ICRF). Manage the supply base effectively and monitor supplier performance to ensure optimal outcomes. Represent the company in contract negotiations and the development of supplier agreements. Develop strategies to meet the companys needs for quality, price, and timing by sourcing from the right suppliers. Establish procedures for addressing non-conformance and ensure accurate record-keeping. Participate in the CAPEX (Capital Expenditure) tendering process, including sourcing suppliers, obtaining quotes, and ensuring the products and services meet the required standards. Oversee the creation and processing of purchase orders. Deliver internal training on best practices in procurement and the procure-to-pay process. Maintain comprehensive records of procurement requests, goods ordered and received, and generate relevant status reports. Address and resolve vendor disputes, payment issues, and supplier claims. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Production Planners, Demand Planners, warehouse staff, Product Managers, R&D, and other stakeholders, to ensure alignment and project support. Continuously identify and implement improvement initiatives to enhance procurement operations across the business.
