Draughtsman

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Draughtsman with experience in armored vehicle design to create technical drawings, plans, and schematics. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, functionality, and durability of our armored vehicle systems. Key Responsibilities: Develop detailed mechanical designs and technical drawings for armored vehicles and their components. Work closely with engineering teams to ensure that designs meet safety, performance, and regulatory standards. Create 2D and 3D CAD models and technical schematics using CAD software. Prepare manufacturing documentation, including assembly instructions, parts lists, and technical specifications. Ensure that all designs meet the company's quality standards and are produced within project timelines. Collaborate with the R&D department to integrate new technologies and improve vehicle design. Perform design analysis, including tolerance checks, stress analysis, and material selection. Assist with the preparation of reports and presentations to support project development. Key Requirements: Proven experience as a Mechanical Draughtsman or similar role, ideally in the defense or automotive industry, with a focus on armored vehicles. Proficient in the use of CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA). Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes. Familiarity with military standards and regulations regarding armored vehicles and defense equipment. Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality, accurate drawings and designs. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams. A Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field is preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
