IT Support Technician

Responsibilities: - Troubleshoot and resolve desktop support issues related to hardware and software. - Install and configure software, hardware, PCs, and laptops. - Conduct regular system backups and maintenance. - Accurately document tasks and solutions. - Provide remote management and support. - Manage relationships with suppliers and Internet Service Providers (ISPs). - Offer first-line support for common queries. - Update and maintain the company website with product information and industry news. - Develop and oversee the reporting application used by management. Experience: - Experience with server software installation and maintenance. - Knowledge of Active Directory and user/role management in a domain environment. - Understanding of TCP/IP networking. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Technical expertise in IT infrastructures. - Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing PCs and printers. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Skills: - IT-related degree or diploma. - Familiarity with web development platforms and programming languages. - Matric certificate
