Location : Kozhikode Company : Malabar Group Key Responsibilities : 1. Design and deploy secure systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and endpoint protection solutions. 2. Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures. 3. Monitor network and system logs to detect suspicious activities and threats. 4. Respond to and mitigate security incidents, including malware outbreaks, phishing attacks, and DDoS threats. 5. Conduct root cause analysis and post-incident reviews. 6. Perform regular vulnerability scans and penetration testing. 7. Identify and address security vulnerabilities in systems, applications, and networks. 8. Educate employees about cybersecurity best practices. 9. Develop and implement training programs for phishing simulations and awareness campaigns. 10. Manage security audits and prepare reports for stakeholders. 11. Secure servers, applications, and networks by enforcing security configurations. 12. Manage patch management processes to ensure up-to-date systems. Technical Expertise : - Knowledge of firewalls, SIEM (e.g., Splunk, QRadar), endpoint protection tools, and IDS/IPS. - Familiarity with cloud security in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. - Hands-on experience with encryption protocols, SSL/TLS, and PKI. - Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, PowerShell, Bash). Certifications : - Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) - Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) (ref:hirist.tech)
