Job Description

Location : Chennai, India Experience : 4-10 years Availability : Immediate - 45 days Job Overview : We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced AEM Administrator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of AEM architecture, administration, and deployment, coupled with experience in CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. A minimum of two years of dedicated AEM Administration experience is essential. Candidates with a combined AEM DevOps Admin profile are highly preferred. Responsibilities : AEM Administration : - Installation, configuration, and maintenance of AEM environments (author, publish, dispatcher). - User and permission management within AEM. - Performance tuning and optimization of AEM instances. - Monitoring AEM systems for performance issues and proactively addressing them. - Troubleshooting and resolving AEM related issues. - Applying AEM updates, patches, and hotfixes. - Managing AEM configurations, including OSGi bundles and services. - Backup and recovery of AEM environments. - Collaboration with development teams to ensure smooth deployments and efficient AEM usage. - Documentation of AEM configurations and processes. CI/CD Pipeline Management : - Implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for AEM deployments. - Automating build, deployment, and testing processes. - Integrating AEM with CI/CD tools (i.e., Jenkins, Maven, Git). - Managing and configuring deployment environments. DevOps Integration : - Working with DevOps tools and practices to automate AEM operations. - Utilizing scripting languages (i.e., Bash, Python) for automation tasks. - Experience with cloud platforms (i.e., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their integration with AEM is a plus. - Containerization and orchestration experience (i.e., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus. - Monitoring and logging using tools like Splunk, New Relic, or similar. Collaboration and Communication : - Effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. - Work closely with development, QA, and other teams to ensure smooth project delivery. - Participate in on-call rotation for production support. Required Skills : - Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience as an AEM Administrator. - Strong understanding of AEM architecture, including author, publish, and dispatcher components. - Proficiency in managing AEM users, permissions, and workflows. - Experience with AEM performance tuning and optimization. - Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (i.e., Jenkins, Maven, Git). - Familiarity with DevOps principles and practices. - Experience with scripting languages (i.e., Bash, Python) is a plus. - Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Skills : - Experience with AEM as a Cloud Service. - Experience with cloud platforms (i.e. AWS, Azure, GCP). - Containerization and orchestration experience (i.e., Docker, Kubernetes). - Experience with monitoring and logging tools (i.e., Splunk, New Relic). - AEM Developer experience is a plus. Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred (ref:hirist.tech)
