Die Algemene Verkoopsbestuurder sal toesig hou oor die verkoops¬span en hulle mentor, terwyl operasionele uitnemendheid en nakoming van maatskappybeleid verseker word en groei in die besigheid dryf. Kwalifikasies en vereistes: Matriek (Noodsaaklik). Graad/Diploma in Besigheidsbestuur, Verkope, of Bemarking (Voorkeur). Verkoopsbestuurskursus of gelykwaardige sertifisering. MPS-akkreditasie (Voordeel). Geldige bestuurslisensie en eie voertuig. Kennis, Vaardighede en Ervaring: 15 jaar ondervinding in kantooroutomatisering, IT, of telekommunikasie-verkope. 3-5 jaar in 'n soortgelyke uitvoerende of leierskapsrol. 2-3 jaar ondervinding in begrotingsvoorspelling en beheer. Omvattende kennis van besigheidsprosesse, verkoopsplatforms en funksies. Sterk kennis van die bedryf, produkte, en markneigings. Ervaring in kliënteverhoudingsbestuur en strategie-implementering. Bevoegd met hardeware, sagteware en verkoops¬tegnologieë. Uitstekende aanbiedings- en onderhandelingsvaardighede. Sleutelverantwoordelikhede: Strategiese Beplanning en Verslagdoening: Ontwikkel en implementeer verkoopsstrategieë wat in lyn is met organisatoriese doelwitte. Voorspel maandelikse, kwartaallikse en jaarlikse verkoopsinkomste en winste. Beplan, ontwikkel, monitor en beheer verkoopsbegrotings. Stel prysstrukture op en handhaaf mededingende tariewe. Ontwikkel, implementeer en hersien verkoopsbeleide, prosedures en prosesse. Skep omvattende weeklikse, maandelikse en jaarlikse verkoopsverslae. Doen navorsing oor mark-, industrie- en mededingende tendense om geleenthede te identifiseer. Woon handelsvergaderings en konvensies by vir netwerk- en tendensidentifikasie. Leierskap en Spanbestuur: Stel individuele verkoopsdoelwitte vir die verkoops¬span en kommunikeer dit. Monitor en bestuur die prestasie van verkoops¬uitvoerende persone deur KPI-evaluerings. Bied mentorskap, opleiding en afrigting vir professionele ontwikkeling. Delegeer kliënte¬rekeninge en hou toesig oor daaglikse verkoopsaktiwiteite. Verseker dat die verkoops¬span voldoende hulpbronne het om hul doelwitte te bereik. Bevorder 'n samewerkende en motiverende spanomgewing. Verkope en Kliënteverhoudingsbestuur: Toesig hou oor en monitor die bereiking van verkoopsdoelwitte. Ontwikkel verkoopsaanbiedings, voorstelle, en promosie-materiaal. Bou en handhaaf effektiewe sakere¬laties met besluitnemers. Voer oorsaakanalise uit vir verlore transaksies of kliënt¬rekeninge. Help met die identifisering en benutting van nuwe verkoopsgeleenthede. Operasionele en Departementele Beheer: Werk saam met ander departemente om verkoopsdoelwitte te bereik. Verseker nakoming van wetlike, regulatoriese, en etiese standaarde. Location: Rivonia, Sandton Salary: R75 000 Positions Available: 1 Reports to: Managing Director Working Hours: 08:00 16:30 (including a 1-hour lunch break) Position Objective: To lead and manage the sales department by planning, implementing, and monitoring strategies that achieve organizational goals related to revenue, profitability, and market share. The General Sales Manager will oversee the sales team and mentor them, ensuring operational excellence, compliance with company policies, and driving business growth. Qualifications and Requirements: Matric (Essential). Degree/Diploma in Business Management, Sales, or Marketing (Preferred). Sales management course or equivalent certification. MPS accreditation (Advantageous). Valid drivers license and own vehicle. Knowledge, Skills, and Experience: 15 years of experience in office automation, IT, or telecommunications sales. 3-5 years in a similar executive or leadership role. 2-3 years of experience in budget forecasting and control. Comprehensive knowledge of business processes, sales platforms, and functions. Strong knowledge of the industry, products, and market trends. Experience in client relationship management and strategy implementation. Proficient in hardware, software, and sales technologies. Excellent presentation and negotiation skills. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Planning and Reporting: Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with organizational goals. Forecast monthly, quarterly, and annual sales revenue and profits. Plan, develop, monitor, and control sales budgets. Establish pricing structures and maintain competitive rates. Develop, implement, and review sales policies, procedures, and processes. Create comprehensive weekly, monthly, and annual sales reports. Research market, industry, and competitive trends to identify opportunities. Attend trade meetings and conventions for networking and trend identification. Leadership and Team Management: Set individual sales targets for the sales team and communicate them effectively. Monitor and manage the performance of sales executives through KPI evaluations. Provide mentorship, training, and coaching for professional development. Delegate client accounts and oversee daily sales activities. Ensure the sales team has adequate resources to meet their goals. Foster a collaborative and motivating team environment. Sales and Client Relationship Management: Oversee and monitor the achievement of sales targets. Develop sales presentations, proposals, and promotional material. Build and maintain effective business relationships with decision-makers. Conduct root cause analysis for lost deals or client accounts. Assist in identifying and leveraging new sales opportunities.
