Who You Are You are a responsible and reliable individual with a strong commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across various environments. You have an eye for detail and take pride in performing cleaning tasks efficiently. You must be physically fit, capable of performing manual tasks, and able to follow instructions to ensure that all areas of the Council’s estates and highways are kept clean and presentable. What the Job Involves This role involves undertaking various cleaning duties in the Council’s estates and highways, including corridors, utility rooms, balconies, internal pathways, entrances, refuse stores, lifts, stairs, and outdoor areas. Your responsibilities will include sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, wall washing, window cleaning, and refuse collection. You'll be required to use appropriate equipment and cleaning materials to ensure all designated areas are consistently well-maintained and meet cleanliness standards.
