Senior Criminal Lawyer

Our client is a boutique law firm with offices in Karratha and Joondalup looking for an experienced Criminal Lawyer to join their Joondalup team. This opportunity presents the chance to manage files and service clients in this small but busy law firm with Clients based all over Western Australia. The Lawyers visit the Karratha office to touch base with their clients and attend to court matters regularly so a willingness to travel is a must. The role will see the successful candidate managing a range of Criminal Matters. The successful candidate will need to be an admitted practitioner with 4 years Post Admission Experience and hold a current practicing certificate. Your Role And Responsibilities Will Include Advising clients in relation to all a range of legal matters. Provide advice in relation to violence restraining orders. Managing files and advising private clients.Appearing in various WA courts. Requirements Experience in Criminal Law. 4 Years PAEKnowledge of FilePro (desirable)Essential personal attributes An ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision, whilst also contributing to a relaxed team environment.Well-developed interpersonal skills.The ability to manage file loads effectively and manage competing priorities.Exceptional attention to detail.Excellent communication and advocacy skills.Willingness to travel to Karratha and other areas when needed.
