Trainer and Assessor - Pre-Employment programs

Location: Brisbane, QLD About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and energetic professional to join our team as a Trainer and Assessor for our pre-employment programs, specifically focusing on the Certificate II in Resources and Infrastructure Work Preparation. Candidates who also hold Traffic Control units of competency will also be highly regarded. The ideal candidate will possess: Currency: Relevant work experience in the civil construction or resources industry. Qualifications: In one or more Civil Construction fields. Certificate IV in Training and Assessment: Upgraded. Working with Children Check: Positive Notice Blue Card or the ability to acquire one. Essential Skills and Competencies: Comprehensive industry and content knowledge Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), especially in working with learners from diverse backgrounds Strong administration and reporting skills Problem-solving abilities and sound decision-making skills High level of professionalism Effective time management skills and self-motivation Proficiency in computer skills Desired Attributes: Positive attitude Strong commitment to quality training in the Civil Industry Ability to engage and motivate learners from diverse backgrounds Key Responsibilities: Deliver and assess training sessions for the Certificate II in Resources and Infrastructure Work Preparation. Provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students. Ensure compliance with RTO standards and industry regulations. Provide feedback and support to learners, helping them to achieve their training goals.
