Accounts Officer (Receivable)

About the role Navia is seeking a full-time Accounts Officer (Receivable) to join our team based at our Melbourne Airport office. In this key role, you will be responsible for managing accounts receivable and credit control functions to support the overall financial operations of the company. What you'll be doing Handling the full accounts receivable cycle, including invoicing, credit checks, collections, and reconciliations Maintaining accurate and up-to-date customer account information Resolving customer billing inquiries and disputes in a timely manner Coordinating with internal teams to ensure prompt payment and minimise bad debts Generating accounts receivable reports and analysis to provide insights into the company's financial position Supporting the implementation of accounts receivable policies and procedures Providing general administrative support to the finance team as required What we're looking for Minimum 2-3 years' experience in an accounts receivable or credit control role, preferably in the logistics or transport industry Strong attention to detail and excellent numeracy skills Proficiency in using CargoWise accounting software and Microsoft Office suite Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Understanding of Australian tax regulations and compliance requirements What we offer At Navia, we are committed to providing our employees with a supportive and rewarding work environment.
