Job Description
We have a unique opportunity for a self-motived, professional and experienced Hospitality Coordinator to join our firm on a 3 day part-time basis (Monday, Wednesday and Thursday). In this role, you will be responsible for the catering of the firm’s events and meetings, including morning teas, breakfast seminars and lunches, and ensuring the front of house and kitchens are maintained. Your key responsibilities will include: ensuring the reception area, boardroom and meeting rooms are kept presentable at all times; the management of three kitchens, including two staff kitchens; maintaining a high-standard of food hygiene, safety and cleanliness at all times; the ordering and restocking of supplies across all three kitchens; coordinating external caterers and suppliers; setting-up and serving of food for morning teas, lunches, seminars and meetings; ordering and preparing coffees and beverages for client and staff meetings; and the maintenance, ordering and cleaning of the three automated coffee machines. In addition, you will be required to assist with reception duties on occasion. This role is very hands-on and requires excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and a positive work attitude. The successful candidate must have a minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role, the ability to communicate with clients and staff effectively, and a friendly and approachable demeanour. Both boardroom and barista experience will be advantageous and considered highly.
