McGregor Tan is a trusted, Australia wide market and social research company that has been based in Adelaide since 1976 We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team for a short-term ongoing data collection project from the start of March to the end of March, 2025. With ongoing dates coming later in the year for round 2. Primary responsibility will be to gather data on litter numbers and types across a variety of sites and areas across Victoria (Melbourne CBD, Dandenong and Hume). This project aims to enhance our understanding of litter patterns and help implement effective strategies for cleaner, more sustainable environments. This is a short-term opportunity with the a very high potential for future work. With flexible hours to accommodate your availability between in March. The role will require working 2-4 days each week and up to 3 weeks in March. Candidates with flexible schedules will be preferred. No experience is needed however the following is required. Access to laptop/ computer with webcam to facilitate training session 1 hour. Ability to interpret and follow a written manual during tasks performed. Maintain communication and be contactable during count period. Possess a valid Australian driver’s license and own a vehicle for transportation to survey locations. Ability to walk short distances comfortably. High attention to detail and ability to be organised with tools provided.
