About The Role We are looking for a passionate and experienced part-time supervisor within our Housekeeping Department at The Old Clare Hotel Reporting directly to the Executive Housekeeper, you will be responsible for supervising and leading the housekeeping team, delivering housekeeping benchmarks and driving guest satisfaction. The successful candidate will have proven experience in an existing team and is looking to step up in their career. Responsibilities will include: Establishing and implementing operational procedures and standards. Managing the rostering and performance of employees which includes room attendants, public area cleaners and houseperson.Training and mentoring the team. Inspecting all assigned areas to ensure standards are met and maintained. Ordering inventory.Working closely with all departments to ensure that the hotel is well presented. Understand and ensure the safe usage and storage of cleaning/ chemical agents in line with health & safety regulations. The ability to lead and motivate the team.Passion for hospitality and customer service. Great presentation and exceptional communication skills. A team player with a hands-on approach.
