About Us Southern Doctors Clinic is a small but growing General Practice located in Campsie, Sydney. Our team of medical professionals works collaboratively to deliver quality patient-centered care, with a major focus on preventative health and chronic disease management. About the Role We are seeking a compassionate and skilled casual Practice Nurse to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential clinical support to our patients, assisting in a wide range of healthcare services, from routine check-ups to chronic disease management. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive nurse who is passionate about patient care and interested in contributing to a growing practice. As our Practice Nurse, you will : Provide comprehensive care to patients, including triaging, wound care, minor procedure immunisations, chronic disease management, health assessments, cold chain management, and treatment room management. Collaborate closely with GPs and other healthcare professionals to provide seamless patient care. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and confidentiality requirements. Coordinate the ordering and management of vaccines, medical supplies, and equipment. Assist with the creation, review, and implementation of practice protocols and quality improvement initiatives. Provide exceptional customer service and build rapport with patients, ensuring they feel heard, cared for, and supported. What We’re Looking For: Registered Nurse (RN) with a current AHPRA registration (essential) . Prior experience in a primary care orgeneral practice setting (highly desirable) . Qualified Nurse Immuniser (highly desirable). Proficiency in Best Practice and Genie software is (highly desirable) . Strong clinical expertise in areas such as wound care, immunizations, chronic disease management, and health assessments. Familiarity with Medicare and the National Immunisation Program (NIP) guidelines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. A genuine passion for patient-centered care and a commitment to maintaining high standards in nursing practice. A proactive, team-oriented attitude with a focus on continuous professional development. Experience assisting with the creation, review, and implementation of practice protocols and quality improvement initiatives.
