Job Description

$90,199 - $101,022 per annum, plus superannuation Ongoing/non-ongoing, Full-time Canberra, Melbourne, Sydney Position Overview Reporting to the Portfolio Project Manager – Corporate Services, the Project Coordinator is responsible for providing project administrative support. This role will support project managers by overseeing administrative tasks, communicating with stakeholders and ensuring deliverables are met in a timely manner. The Project Coordinator will assist the Portfolio Project Manager with the development of project management documents such as budgets, schedules, scope statements and project plans. The candidate will be expected to liaise with various stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Duties Demonstrate team communication skills with the ability to lead and influence outcomes. Demonstrated project management experience focussing on delivering results. Proven effective communication and collaboration skills focussing on stakeholder management. Capacity to manage competing priorities and work well under time pressure. Be proactive, adaptable, and committed to team success. Ad hoc administrative tasks not limited to but including scheduling meetings, preparing documents and generating reports. Selection Criteria Well-developed oral and written communication skills, including proven ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels and prepare professional business documents. Demonstrated experience in project management including risk, issue and change management. Well-developed stakeholder engagement and communicating with influence skills, including the proven ability to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders and provide leadership and guidance to other team members. Demonstrated ability to plan, organise and prioritise a demanding workload and ensure quality and accuracy in outputs and meet timelines. Experience working independently to research, investigate and analyse complex issues. Demonstrated experience or familiarity with project management methods such as PRINCE2 and/or SAFe (desirable). Experience using Microsoft 365 tools, including Power Point, Excel and Power BI (desirable). Eligibility Employment with the Court is subject to the conditions prescribed in the Public Service Act 1999, and the following: Australian citizenship – the successful applicant must hold Australian citizenship. Security and character clearance – the successful applicant must satisfy a Police Records Check, and may also be required to complete security clearances during the course of their employment. Successful applicants engaged into the APS will be subject to a probation period.
