About the Role: We are seeking an immediate start for a dynamic Jewish Studies/ Hebrew Kinder Teacher to join our Jewish Studies/Hebrew Kinder ELC Team. Our teachers are warm and knowledgeable and support the kinder environment to encourage and inspire all children’s potential. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Jewish education and an in-depth understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards, and National Regulations to ensure their practices align with these standards. This is a part-time role, requiring a 30-hour work week. Our centre operates from 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM Monday to Thursday and 7:30 AM - 3:00 PM on Fridays. You will need to be available to work daily within these hours. As an experienced Jewish Studies Teacher, you will provide a safe, engaging, and stimulating learning environment for children. You will work collaboratively with other educators in the best interests of our students. You will need to be able converse with our children in Hebrew Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement a dynamic Jewish Studies program tailored to young learners. Foster a love for Jewish traditions, stories, and values through engaging activities, songs, and storytelling. Integrate Jewish teachings with the Early Learning Framework to support children’s holistic development. Create a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment where all children feel valued and inspired. Collaborate with families to strengthen the home-school connection and encourage Jewish engagement beyond the classroom. Participate in school events, holiday celebrations, and community initiatives. Work closely with colleagues to support a cohesive and enriching educational experience. Communicate with our children in both English and Hebrew Qualifications & Experience: Completed an appropriate qualification with valid WWCC. (removed VIT requirement) Recognised first aid, emergency asthma management, and anaphylaxis management training. Background in Jewish Studies, Hebrew, or Jewish education is highly desirable. Experience working in an early childhood or primary education setting. A passion for Jewish education and the ability to engage young children in meaningful learning experiences. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Valid Mandatory Reporting Certificate Why Join Us?
