Job summary: Flexible hours available 2-3 years of relevant work experience required for this role Working rights required for this role Expected salary: $73,350 - $75,000 per year Gorilla Foods is an innovative Food Company based in Surry Hills, NSW. We are known for our multidimensional food services ranging from quick-service restaurant, take-home food preparation via online platforms, home meal delivery service via in-house website and corporate catering partnerships servicing approx. 300-400 pax per week. We are currently requiring additional staff to meet the demands of our expanding business. Gorilla Foods is seeking applications from experienced and passionate chefs to join our kitchen team located on Devonshire St, Surry Hills. The ideal candidate/s will have the following skills and experience: 2 years experiences in a professional kitchen Corporate catering experience is benecial Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong understanding of produce, stock control, culinary techniques and kitchen equipment The ability to work in a fast-paced atmosphere Complete all work responsibilities and assignments in a timely manner. Competently cook lunch and dinner services Anticipate and attend to the guest’s requirements and desires immediately. Demonstrate superior recipe knowledge for every item on the restaurant’s menus Ensure full implementation of HACCP code of practice Maintain a harmonious relationship with other members Maintain high standards and lead by example As a successful candidate, you will be offered immediate start and on a negotiable salary Candidates with Australian citizens or permanent residency will be preferred.
