About the Role Our National Clients & Markets Bids team is looking for an Administrator to manage a busy team inbox and undertake other administrative tasks, providing highly valued support and ultimately helping BDO to win new work. In this vital role, you’ll ensure every email that comes into the team inbox is actioned appropriately. You’ll also provide administrative support to ensure the Bids team’s internal processes run smoothly, track the team’s work and results in our systems, and have the opportunity to contribute to key projects. The Administrator is required to work full time five days per week (Monday to Friday). We offer the option to work from home up to two days per week, and flexible start/finish times may be considered for the right candidate. Your key responsibilities will include (but not be limited to): Directing every email that comes into the team inbox to the appropriate person for action, and filing every email Summarising and sending potential opportunities to the appropriate leaders across BDO, with guidance from Bids team members Providing administrative support to ensure the Bids team’s internal processes run smoothly Using the firm’s client database (CRM system) and the team’s work allocation system to keep track of opportunities Assisting with key projects at the direction of the Senior Manager, Bids – for example, the bids content library Working as part of a supportive team, including participating in regular team meetings To be successful in this role, ideally you’ll have: The ability to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and handle a large volume of emails Exceptional attention to detail Strong organisational skills Confidence in quickly learning new software, systems, and processes Excellent communication and team working skills, with the ability to develop rapport at all levels of the organisation A ‘can do’ attitude and genuine desire to be part of a supportive, friendly team Some professional administration experience is well regarded but not essential – particularly in managing a central inbox and/or using a client database Business writing and proofreading skills are well regarded but not essential Why BDO?
