Project Manager

Project Manager (6-Month Full Time Contract) Location: Chullora NSW (hybrid role 3 days in the office) Job Type: Full-time, Contract (12 months) About the role We are seeking an experienced Project Manager for one of our client projects on a 6-month fixed term full time contract, with a strong likelihood of extension. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with implementing M365, including mailbox and SharePoint migrations. This role requires strong technical skills, the ability to get hands-on, and the capability to converse effectively with the technical team. Key Responsibilities : Lead and manage M365 implementation projects, including mailbox and SharePoint migrations. Collaborate with technical teams to ensure successful project delivery. Develop and maintain project documentation in compliance with industry regulations. Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Evaluate and take necessary corrective action regarding unresolved issues, concerns, and problems raised by stakeholders Resource planning and forecasting Key Requirements: Extensive experience with implementing M365, including mailbox and SharePoint migrations. Strong technical skills, with the ability to get hands-on and converse with the technical team. Exposure to a regulated industry and an understanding of the need for documentation. Experience in the finance industry and with organizations of a similar size (100-500 people) Experience and Competencies: Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering M365 implementation projects. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to excel in high pressure environments Minimum of 4 years project management experience Project management certification (e.g. PMP, Prince2, etc) Commercial experience & exposure to the financial industry Strong experience with IT governance and supporting principles ITIL certification Advanced Industry based certification Australian residency, citizenship, or a valid working visa General Compliance Ensure a safe working environment in accordance with the relevant Work Health and Safety (WHS) legislation. Work within and actively promote the core vision, corporate strategies, values, policies, procedures, and Code of Conduct. Ensure a thorough understanding of and adherence to any corporate or government compliance requirements.
