Nobu is renowned for its Japanese-inspired cuisine, and joining their culinary team as a Commis Chef would be a fantastic experience. As a Commis Chef at Nobu, you’ll have the chance to learn from some of the best chefs in the business. Your responsibilities may include preparing and cooking food under the supervision of more experienced chefs and ensuring proper food storage. Attention to detail is crucial in creating exceptional dishes that delight guests. In this role, you’ll provide joyful experiences through your genuine care for guests. As well as: Work closely with team members across this team. Assist senior chefs in food preparation. Ensuring food are prepared up to standard. About you You’ll bring the following: Prior experience is a similar role. Attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications To be successful in this role: Certificate III & IV in Cookery or equivalent experience Minimum 1-2 years of experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices Excellent knife skills and ability to follow recipes accurately Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team Passion for culinary arts and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Additional Information What you can expect from us On top of exciting career possibilities, we offer better exposure to experiences and learning.
