Team Overview The Education and Engagement team supports achievement of Comcare’s strategic objectives by delivering high-quality education and engagement activities for organisations across the Comcare Scheme. The team works collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to deliver client-centric services. The team is compromised of the following areas: Education Engagement and Design Strategy and Governance. The Education and Engagement team sits within the Strategic Partnerships and Engagement Group. This Group leads the development and delivery of a broad range of projects and other initiatives that promote and enable safe and healthy work. The key duties of the position include: The Senior Project Officer will support Comcare to achieve its strategic objectives through a stakeholder centric approach that is coordinated, collaborative and effective. This role will: Scope, design, deliver and evaluate stakeholder engagement activities and events. Support identifying, developing and sustaining internal and external stakeholder relationships, to ensure the achievement of outcomes. Use collaborative approaches with the ability to meet timelines. Analyse stakeholder engagement data to provide insights, recommendations, and priorities for future stakeholder engagement. As required, manage and/or mentor the team to rapidly respond and adapt to changing conditions and broader business needs as they arise. Primary Responsibilities: Lead work across Comcare and the scheme to support and enable a whole-of-Comcare approach to stakeholder engagement. This includes supporting communication, coordination, collaboration, planning and evaluation of engagement activities to understand their impact and identify lessons learnt for continuous improvement. Lead/coordinate the design, development, delivery and evaluation of stakeholder engagement activities, including presentations, webinars and forums, under limited direction. Analyse stakeholder engagement data to provide insights, recommendations, and priorities for future stakeholder engagement activities and events. Support the implementation, evaluation, and refinement of Comcare’s Engagement Framework and Program. Establish systems, processes, and templates to assist in developing future engagement activities. Promote and develop constructive relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders, including Comcare’s Executive, subject matter experts, and service providers. Foster and develop working relationships with union representatives and support high level interactions between Comcare Executive and unions. Manage, analyse, and report on data in evaluation reports, executive briefs, and operational reports. Lead and work as part of an agile team to deliver objectives for short term tasks and strategic planning for longer-term initiatives. Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of Comcare's strategic and operational priorities, the possible impacts on the work area and monitor changes in the broader work environment. Qualifications and Experience Desirable: Tertiary qualification in education, health or business management will be highly regarded. Eligibility Australian citizenship. Character clearance (Australian Criminal History Check). Employee Health Declaration. Six months probationary period for new engagements. Specific Conditions: o Some intra and interstate travel is required, including overnight absences Getting to know the Comcare Comcare is the national authority for work health and safety, and workers’ compensation.
