Air Conditioning Repair and Service Technician

Gregory Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Technologies are seeking a confident individual to join us on a full-time basis as a Commercial Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Technician diagnosing, repairing and maintaining air conditioning & refrigeration systems of all types and capacities. Installation work is also available for the right candidate. This is also a great opportunity for a technician (or 3rd/4th year apprentices) with a background in the light commercial applications, installation or service, to gain some exposure to large commercial and industrial applications Benefits On Offer: Opportunities to acquire new skills and further your career Competitive remuneration Current model company vehicle Uniforms, work phone & tablet provided Work/life balance & RDOs Professional and supportive team Duties & Responsibilities: Diagnosis of breakdowns and faults in commercial air conditioning / refrigeration systems Testing and commissioning of air conditioning systems Repair and preventative maintenance works Liaise with clients and provide a high level of customer service Ensure works are completed in line with company and industry safety and quality standards Oversee and mentor apprentices carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance, and minor installation projects Experience & Attributes: Prior equipment diagnostics and repair experience Technical competence with mechanical ventilation, air conditioning or refrigeration systems, or similar QBCC licence Qld Restricted Electrical Work licence ARC licence Construction Industry General Induction card (white card) Current QLD driver's license Ability to work independently as well as withing a team Effective communication skills with customers and colleagues About us: Gregory Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Technologies was established in 1979, servicing our contract client base in the industrial and commercial sectors.
