Senior Renewable Energy Engineer

Title: Senior Renewable Energy Project ManagerLocation: Sydney, NSW or Melbourne, Victoria, Australia or Queensland, Australia Overview:We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Renewable Energy Project Manager to join our growing team. This role is pivotal in driving the successful execution of renewable energy projects across all phases, including origination, development, construction, and operations. You will play a key role in ensuring project milestones are met while upholding quality, safety, and sustainability standards. Key Responsibilities:Lead the end-to-end delivery of renewable energy projects, managing scope, timelines, budgets, and stakeholder relationships to achieve optimal project outcomes.Provide expert engineering support throughout the project lifecycle, including technical input during due diligence for investments.Assist with development and procurement processes, ensuring alignment with project goals and technical requirements.Monitor operational performance of renewable energy assets and troubleshoot technical issues to optimize efficiency.Contribute to investor relations by providing detailed technical insights and performance evaluations.Qualifications and Experience:Proven experience managing the construction and delivery of renewable energy hybrid systems and/or Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).Strong project and contract management skills, with a demonstrated ability to handle complex contracts and foster positive stakeholder engagement.In-depth understanding of engineering design processes and experience managing multifaceted engineering projects in a dynamic environment.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Commercial acumen with the ability to evaluate technical challenges within a broader business and investment context.Comprehensive knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards and regulations.Collaborative team player with a proactive approach to achieving project objectives.Self-motivated and adaptable, with strong problem-solving abilities and a drive for continuous learning.Must have the right to work in Australia (visa sponsorship is not available).Tips: Provide a summary of the role, what success in the position looks like, and how this role fits into the organization overall.
