Dental Assistant/Nurse – Part-Time Position Location: Manly Village Dental Position: Part-Time (3–4 days per week, hours negotiable) About the Role: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team at Manly Village Dental, a well-established private practice in Manly. We are looking for a passionate individual to work 3 to 4 days a week, with hours flexible from 9/10 am to 2/3 pm, based on mutual agreement. This is a fast-paced role offering hands-on experience and the opportunity to grow professionally. You’ll be supported by our experienced management team, who will provide ongoing training to help you expand your skills and knowledge in dentistry. Key Responsibilities: Provide chair-side assistance to our skilled Dentists Deliver exceptional dental care and customer service to every patient Ensure proper instrument reprocessing and sterilization Handle telephone calls, patient enquiries, and appointment bookings Support administrative tasks, including managing patient invoicing and accounts Maintain a clean and organized clinic and surgery environment Assist with patient recall systems and other essential tasks Greet and welcome patients upon arrival What We’re Looking For: Excellent communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor Ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment Strong work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude Certification in Dental Assisting (Cert III) and at least 1 year of experience (all applicants will be considered) Previous experience with Exact dental software is preferred Must be available on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday A team player who is dedicated to delivering the best possible patient experience About You: You are an enthusiastic team player with a friendly, patient-focused attitude and a willingness to go above and beyond to ensure every patient receives exceptional care.
