Production Planner

About the role We are seeking a talented and experienced Production Planner to join our dynamic team at NCI Packaging. As a Production Planner, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and timely production of our high-quality packaging solutions. What you'll be doing Develop and maintain comprehensive production schedules to meet customer demand and operational requirements Liaise with production teams, procurement, and inventory management to optimise resource utilisation and minimise downtime Analyse production data, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements to enhance overall efficiency Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination and integration of production activities Monitor and report on key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement Provide support and guidance to production staff to ensure adherence to quality standards and safety protocols What we're looking for Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar production planning or scheduling role, preferably within the manufacturing or logistics industry Strong understanding of production planning principles, inventory management, and lean manufacturing techniques Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills Proficient in using production planning software and data analysis tools Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities About us NCI Packaging is a leading provider of high-quality packaging solutions for a wide range of industries.
