Join our dynamic team at Liberty Industrial as a Bid Manager. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the bid and tendering process from start to finish. The successful candidate will have a Civil and / or Remediation Background. The Opportunity: • Lead the bid management process, ensuring high-quality, competitive, and timely submissions. • Oversee and coordinate proposal development, including financial projections, risk assessments, and resource planning. • Collaborate with internal teams including HSE, Marketing, Sales, Operations, People & Culture, Finance, and Commercial to align proposals with organisational goals. • Develop and execute strategies to enhance business growth through sole and unsolicited bids. • Engage with key external partners, clients, and industry associations to support market entry and expansion. • Ensure compliance with regulatory, governance, and risk management frameworks throughout the bid process. • Lead cross-functional teams to develop compelling, data-driven proposals that align with client needs and business objectives. • Drive continuous improvement in proposal development and bid processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. • Uphold our unwavering commitment to health, safety, environment, and quality (HSEQ) policies in all aspects of your work. About You: • Tertiary qualifications and a minimum of 10 years of experience in bid management, proposals, or a similar role within the construction, demolition, civil, or remediation industries. • Strong background in business development, tendering, and strategic estimating. • Proven ability to develop and execute winning bid strategies. • Exceptional organisational, administrative, and communication skills. • Proficient in bid management tools and software, as well as Microsoft Office Suite. • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. • A proactive problem-solver with a strategic mindset. • Willingness to travel as required to support business development activities.
