Safety Manager - 6 month contract

Reporting to the Head of Safety and Wellbeing, this role will drive a robust health and safety program to deliver industry leading safety performance across the business, by providing specialist and technical safety knowledge and advice. At mycar, we put people first and this role is critical to ensuring we have practices in place that prevent injury as well as support people afterwards, someone who will champion a safe workplace. You will have experience in leading and influencing positive safety culture and role model industry leading health and safety behaviours. With your experience, you will provide guidance, advice and coaching to support team members in WHS, support our wellbeing offering, conduct workplace investigations and manage preventative safety programs. You’ll also have the opportunity to develop safety training programs, assist in the production of safety training videos and facilitate safety focused training both face to face and online. You will also be responsible for leading the safe work group and review of site operations and processes and undertake regular site visits to stores nationally and facilitate safety.
