Job Title: Procurement Administrator (Remote) Location: Home-Based (Virtual) - Runcorn Job Type: Temporary Duration: Expected to last 2 months with a possible extension Pay: £14 Inclusive of Holiday Pay Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Administrator, preferably with procurement experience or previous involvement with a Procurement Team. The successful candidate will provide essential administrative support, supplier engagement, and coordination of procurement-related tasks to ensure smooth operational processes. This is a fully remote role requiring excellent organizational and communication skills. Key Responsibilities: Provide general administrative support, including coordinating meetings and handling enquiries. Engage with low-criticality suppliers to manage queries and maintain relationships. Process new account forms and supplier documentation. Manage quotes, purchase orders (POs), and coordinate deliveries. Take meeting notes and track action points for follow-up. Update, maintain, and combine procurement-related files and records. Handle general business-as-usual (BAU) procurement queries and escalate issues that Procurement Operations cannot resolve. Key Requirements: Proven experience as an Administrator, ideally within a procurement or supply chain environment. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and procurement software. Ability to work independently and manage virtual collaboration tools. Excellent communication skills for engaging with suppliers and internal stakeholders. Attention to detail and ability to manage documentation efficiently
