Forklift Engineer

Forklift Engineer Location: Northampton Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum We are looking for an experienced Forklift Engineer to join our team in Northampton. If you have worked as a Forklift Engineer, plant fitter, or vehicle technician, this role could be perfect for you. Experience in plant equipment, powered access, agriculture, or motor vehicles is also a great fit. Your Role as a Forklift Engineer: Diagnose, repair, and maintain forklifts and other material handling equipment. Work on a variety of machines, from pallet trucks to automated trucks. Provide high-quality service and repairs at customer sites.What We Offer: Competitive salary with a 5% annual bonus and commission opportunities. Monday-Friday, rotating early/late shifts (39.5 hours per week). Overtime opportunities and additional on-call pay. Laptop, phone, uniform, and PPE provided.What We Are Looking For in a Forklift Engineer: Experience in mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic engineering. NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) is ideal but not essential. IT literacy for record-keeping and orders. Full UK driving license. Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
