Quality Engineer

Wentworth James Group are recruiting for an experienced Quality Engineer for our well-estbalished client based near Wolverhmapton due to increased orders. Duties of a Quality Engineer: Maintain quality system for ISO (Apply online only) assessments Good understanding and use of measuring equipment Deal with day-to-day quality issues, using 8D. Inform staff on quality procedures. Formalize monthly report format covering customer complaints, quality-affected production down time and cost of quality. Ability to read drawings Carry out full PPAP’s for customers (including FMEA, Gauge RR,) Ability to deal directly with customers Prospects to develop to the position of Quality manager Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm
