Design Quality Engineer (Medical Devices) Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 PA (dependant on level of experience) Benefits: full benefits package Location: Amersham / Chesham (Buckinghamshire) Design Quality Engineer Summary This is a great opportunity for a design quality engineer to join a growing medical technology business based in the Amersham area (Bucks). They are a fast-growing engineering business with 40 people and approx a $10m turnover. They design and manufacture complex medical products used by a variety of sectors all across the globe. At the moment they are recruting for a design quality engineer to sit between the quality engineering and design teams. You will ideally have 2-3 years (or more) of experience in a design focused role within a safety critical industry, such as aerospace, medical, automotive engineering etc. The experience that would best suit this role would be someone who has a design background in electrical or mechanical engieering. This design quality engineer role would make an excellent start for someone currently in electro-mechanical design looking to transition into a role more focused on strategic quality and regulatory support relating to global medical devices. Design Quality Engineer Requirements Between 2-5 years of experience in an electrical and/or mechanical focused design role Degree educated within a relevent technical area Experience working within a safety critical industry; such as medical, aerospace or automotive (or similar) Excellent communication skills An interest in quality / regulatory requirements and perhaps some experience in writing technical reports Non-conformance reports / CAPA's would be advantageous but not a hard requirement If you are potentially interested in this design quality engineering role please hit the apply button and Mike Smith will be in touch
